Vantage ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Vantage platform at vantagecareers.co. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
We take your privacy seriously. Our platform is designed to minimize the personal data we collect while delivering powerful career tools.
Account Information: Email address and password (stored hashed). If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name and email from Google.
Resume Content (Build from Scratch): Job titles, company names, employment dates, skills, and achievements. We do NOT collect your name, phone number, or home address in this mode. You add personal details yourself after downloading.
Resume Uploads (Upload & Optimize): Uploaded files may contain personal information. We process the file, extract professional content, and auto-delete the original file within 24 hours.
Skills & Interview Data: Target roles, skills, experience level, and interview responses used to provide analysis and feedback.
Payment Information: Processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your credit card number.
We do NOT: Sell your data, share resumes with employers or recruiters, serve targeted ads, or train AI models on your data without consent.
Vantage uses Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered features. When you use AI features, your professional content (job history, skills, achievements) is sent to the AI service over encrypted connections. Personal contact information is NOT sent in Build from Scratch mode. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models by default.
All users can access, correct, export, and permanently delete their data at any time. Use the "Delete My Account" feature to remove everything irreversibly within 30 days. EU users have additional GDPR rights. California users have additional CCPA/CPRA rights.
We use essential cookies only for authentication. We use privacy-focused analytics with no tracking cookies. We do NOT use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.

By using Vantage, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Vantage provides AI-powered tools for resume optimization, skills gap analysis, and interview preparation. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or specific career outcomes. Results depend on many factors beyond our Service.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining your account security and must notify us of any unauthorized access.
Starter (Free): Limited feature access at no cost.
Pro ($16/mo): Full access with usage limits as described on our pricing page.
Max ($39/mo): Unlimited access to all features.
Paid plans may include free trials. Cancel anytime through your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. No partial refunds. Payments processed by Stripe.
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully, upload fraudulent content, attempt to access other users' data, use bots or scrapers, reverse-engineer the Service, create fake credentials, or resell access.
Your Content: You own everything you provide. We only use it to deliver the Service to you.
AI-Generated Content: Optimized resume text, feedback, and recommendations are yours to use in your professional materials.
Our Platform: The Vantage platform, design, code, and databases are our intellectual property.
AI outputs are suggestions, not guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content. AI scores and assessments are approximations. Always verify content accurately reflects your experience before submitting to employers.
Vantage is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of employment opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that AI content will result in employment.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Data is handled per our Privacy Policy upon termination.
We may modify these Terms with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
